A Summer Program for High School Students

If you are finishing up the junior year of high school, and are looking to thefuture, you may be interested in CEU San Pablo Summer University Course: Learning Architectural Drawing. This two-week program is designed to introduce high school students to the profession of Architecture. It will be offered from July 4 to July 15. The workshop will run from10.00 am to 18.00 pm during the week (Monday to Friday).

Learning Architectural Drawing

The Summer Course is held in Madrid CEU San Pablo University, so students take advantage of Madrid as a dynamic laboratory of architectural speculation. The program is intended to inform students about the study and practice of Architecture, so all individuals interested in pursuing a career in the design and building professions are encouraged to attend. Since students will work on groups of 20-30 students, they can expect individual attention from their studio instructors. All students will obtain a Diploma from CEU San Pablo University.

Projects, lectures and seminars 

Program

The course includes a short intensive project similar to first-year graduate school project, group discussions and reviews, training sessions in graphics and related skills, direct access to the Library, one-on-one guidance from instructors. The workshop includes a field trip to a Madrid’s architectural landmark, instruction in freehand sketching, model-making and introduction to digital representation. The program concludes with an exhibition of student work and a reception for students and their families.

Cost

Tuition is 275 Euros or 675 Euros (including housing) The Hall of Residence Colegio Mayor San Pablo is located in Moncloa.
